That’s probably the reason I started this blog. After looking for good life insurance in Kenya, I was left with no choice but to seek the information myself and put it on this blog.

Mind you, I don’t know much about blogging nor I’m I an expert in insurance matters. But I do believe that as a consumer, I may know what I need from an insurance company in Kenya.

So, instead of the insurance companies telling us what they want, why not us telling them what we need.

Life Insurance Companies in Kenya

Can someone please tell the insurance agent in Nairobi that I don’t want to be told that I am going to die to get some money. Maybe it works in the US but surely, there must be something unAfrican about telling someone they are going to die.

“Buy my policy, then you can die!” That is not marketing, that is scaring the hell out of me.

I know very few life insurance companies in Kenya that seem like they care about the common Kenyan consumer. All they do is advertise their life policies but you never get to know what they are all about.

There is this insurance agent who only seemed concerned with me signing his contract. The problem is that I could not understand the contract or the product. I had no choice but keep on postponing his appointments. After all, how can I confess to someone I never got to know much about life insurance companies in Kenya?
